Brief Role Description
A Therapeutic Yoga Teacher designs personalized yoga sequences to address physical, mental, and emotional health issues. They work with students recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions, integrating yoga with therapeutic approaches to promote healing and well-being.
Requirement / Eligibility
Applicants must have:
1. Completed a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) training program from a recognized Yoga Institute.
or
2. Obtained a Basic Yoga Certificate from a reputable Institute or University.
Personal Attributes
A Therapeutic Yoga Teacher should have strong empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt practices to meet individual needs. Patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of anatomy and healing are essential. They must also be attentive, intuitive, and committed to helping others improve their physical and emotional well-being.

6. Cardiovascular Disorders
7. Life Style disorders
8. Musculoskeletal Disorders
9. Digestive disorders
10. Psychological disorders
11. Respiratory disorders
12. Practical sessions of Shat Kriyas
13. How to conduct therapeutic yoga sessions.
14. Basic concepts of Ayurveda and Tridoshas.
Those who complete this course will be eligible for advanced course
(YCB LEVEL 6 YOGA THERAPIST)
